Credibility Tests for FTTH Telecom IT

Telecom Italy has organized a series of tests for the evaluation of materials proposed by Tecon, for the purposes Fiber To The Home (FTTH).
In collaboration with the leading installation companies (Sirti Sielte, Alpitel, Valtellina, etc.) have been installed in the materials offered by Fujikura Tecon in experimental FTTH networks in the cities of Rome and Turin.
The experimental installations were performed according to the solutions chosen by Telecom, respectively, through links with multi-fiber cables and point-to-point with special cables monofiber.

Fujikura materials were chosen to be applied in solutions of other manufacturers.

The Fujikura Solution with "point-point" type, was approved by Telecom Italy.
This solution uses a special monofiber optical cable and optical connectors mounted in the field by mechanical joints or splice on the cable.
